It can be fun to speculate about what dogs might think, especially when they are brimming with happiness. Even though they don’t use words to express their thoughts, they communicate with their bodies and faces.

This cheerful Bulldog will leave no doubt about his current state of mind. However, you might wonder if this exuberance leaves him a little achy the next day.

Take a look at his unique way of expressing his feelings in this video from August 9.

I have never seen a zoomie quite like this before! Tyson (@ tysonthegangstabully ) is an enthusiastic guy who likes to show excitement using a stop-drop-and-roll technique. And it conveys this English Bulldog 's joy effectively. I love how he checks in with his parents after each roll to ensure they see his trick! LOL! While these parkour-style zoomies sure look fun, if he were human, he might end up with a few bruised ribs. Fortunately, our dogs never have trouble getting back on their feet to do it all over again. Perhaps that’s why they ask for extra treats to help build up a padded layer. It’s an argument I could hear mine making, anyway.

    Ways Dogs Communicate Happiness

Dogs express their love for us in various ways. Some will gaze into our eyes, while others will listen carefully to our voices. Their excited greetings when we come home, including tail wagging , kissing, and endless wiggles, also show their devotion and affection. They also show happiness by engaging in play, such as running wildly or relaxing by leaning into us. While jumping isn’t desirable in most situations, it’s also a sign of their enthusiasm, the same way spinning, licking, and nuzzling can be. Many will even bring us gifts to show us how pleased they are to see us, and sleeping next to us at night can be another way they show how much they care.

This silly show entertained people! One person shared, “This is why English Bulldogs are my spirit animal! They have the best personalities! Hilarious.” They are indeed characters. Viewer @ivzies remarked, “He’s on the tumble cycle in the dryer.” Ha! That’s an excellent comparison. Viewer @c.profitt reported, “My bully used to do the same thing in the snow…he loved making puppy angels.” That’s understandable with the soft padding, but doing it on the hard ground can’t be as comfortable.

Although we may never know where our dog’s silly expressions of joy come from, one thing is always evident: they know how to get their message across. They never leave us wondering how happy they are to be by our side.
