Leaving your dog isn't always easy. Sometimes, it's downright impossible, like when they give the most compelling, dramatic performances to convince you to stay—how could you deny them? French Bulldogs Tucker and Louie definitely have the act down, and it's working!

In a TikTok video posted by @tucker.louiethefrenchies, the Frenchie brothers truly believed they were being left all alone in the world, and their reaction will make you stop and say, "Aww!" Check them out!

"We’re not going anywhere, babies," the caption begins. "Stopped to give them all the pets, treats, and love."

The 11-second clip shows the sweet pups snuggled up together with the saddest-looking faces. They don't move much, but they hold a pitiful stare, almost begging Mom not to go. This small but mighty duo has nearly 11,000 followers, and many agree that this look is one no human can deny.

"Aww, poor babies," one person wrote. "That stare right before you leave gets me every time," another said. "Aww, they always give the most heartbreaking little looks when you’re about to leave," another added, and it's so true!

With faces like those, Tucker and Louie deserve the world.

Tips for Leaving Your Dog(s) Alone

Many dogs like Tucker and Louie can sense when we're leaving and will give the big, sad dog eyes we've all come to know. It's enough to make us want to change plans because we don't want them to think we're not coming back even though sometimes we have to (work, vacation, running errands, etc.).

The American Humane Society advises there are some things you can do to help make leaving your dog a little easier. First, make sure they've gone outside and keep to their normal daily routine to provide the stability they need to know what comes next. Ensure they have adequate toys, a comfortable space to sleep, and anything else they typically have throughout the day. Basically, keep everything around your absence normal.

If you have a pup who gets separation anxiety , they could act out while you're away. It's important to find things to help them self-soothe until your return. This could be through toys, leaving the TV or radio on for noise, offering mentally challenging games like puzzles, hiring a dog walker to get them out of the house for a bit, or even taking them to doggy daycare when you're going to be away for a while, if possible.

If none of this helps, reach out to your vet for alternatives, such as supplements, to get them (and you!) to a better headspace about leaving them.

Tucker and Louie understood the assignment, and we agree it'd be really hard to leave those adorable little faces!
