Great Dane's Funny Way of Sitting Is the Most Adorable Fail

Dogs always seem to find a way to get cozy even in the strangest places or positions. For Phantom the Great Dane, it's a normal chair by a standard window—except with a twist. This funny fellow's use of the chair may be a little odd, but it works for him.

An August 22 TikTok video posted by @safecrackincam shows the pup doing a little window watching in the funniest way possible. He's such a character!

In the brief clip captioned, "I could do this every day, and each time he sits, I find it hilarious," Phantom enjoys a peek out the window next to one of his favorite chairs. The moment Dad says "sit," the good boy does in fact sit, but only with his hind legs he propped up onto the chair while his front legs stayed firmly on the ground. He definitely has this command down, but does it in his own special way.

With more than 343,000 likes, this video made a lot of people giggle.

"I feel you sweet boy!! the strength and struggle it takes to get back up off the floor is just too much," one person wrote. "Lol he sat. The other half of him just didn’t go with it," another noted. "Clever dog. knows he will still.have same view," another added.

A Great Dane's Size Is Impressive

Like Phantom, Great Danes are known to be gentle giants—key words being "giants!" Though they typically have the sweetest demeanor, The Apollo of Dogs oftentimes looks quite intimidating due to their sheer size alone.

The American Kennel Club notes that Great Danes can grow up to 32 inches at the shoulder, which is huge! As for weight, these cuties can compete with grown humans with females coming in around 140 pounds and up to 175 pounds for males. When they stand on their hind legs, they can literally tower over many people!

Despite how big they can grow, Danes still carry themselves with pride, standing tall and proud. Look at Phantom—even the way he sits has a sort of "cool guy" vibe. With a temperament that's both affectionate and social, these watchdogs make the perfect addition to families with or without children. Though, due to their size, they should undergo plenty of training so not to knock over little ones!

However big they get, Phantom's not worries about it. He'll still find a way to fit on his chair!
