Adam Sandler is one of the biggest celebrities... maybe ever. Everyone loves Adam Sandler; he was on some of our childhood favorite movies, only to be seen again in more favorites as we got older. His fashion sense is iconic, and so is his attitude.
A lesser known Sandler is Bagel, his Bulldog. However, when Adam Sandler had a guest appearance on Jason and Travis Kelce's podcast, Bagel evidently stole the show:
New Heights has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts this past year, and I think Bagel Sandler might have just made this one of my favorite episodes. I didn't know he was even a thing!

Adam Sandler is famous for his impressive film and TV portfolio, but he's equally well-known for his funky sense of style and his ability to walk around and be just a guy. Semi-recently, he was spotted walking around Manchester, New Hampshire, where he's from. He truly does exude New Hampshire energy.
He's also, apparently, a dog dad, and he's particularly fond of Bulldogs that he names after food According to this clip, he's had several:
- Meatball
- Matzo Ball
- Babu
- Pickles
Bagel is the latest one, and neither Jason nor Travis had ever heard that name for a dog before, so it took them by surprise and cracked them up immensely. Maybe it even inspired them; Kylie has been wanting to get a cat. Maybe they'll name them cream cheese. Lox! Red onion?
Adam Sandler Loves Animals
Adam Sandler's love of animals doesn't just extend to his adorable food-themed Bulldogs, though. Throughout his acting career, Adam Sandler has shown support to lots of charities, including the Animal Rescue Foundation. The Mobile, Alabama based rescue collects donations to fund the medical care of animals in need in their municipal shelter. Additionally, they use funding to improve their fostering and rescue mission programs!
Beyond charitable donations and his love of Bulldogs, Adam Sandler has admitted to being a little reserved about animals, especially reptiles and anything that moves too fast. As a child, he did have a king snake named Ralph, but after Ralph's passing, he decided to stick to dogs and has four Bulldogs since.
His first-ever Bulldog, Meatball, actually made a big-screen debut in Little Nicky (2000) as a talking dog/tour guide named Mr. Beefy. The performance Meatball gave catapulted him to stardom and, apparently, cemented Adam Sandler's status as a Bulldog Dad for once and for all. It's kind of Bagel to be carrying on the legacy by stealing the show as a podcast star!
