A Golden Retriever has an adorable bond with the local garbage collectors, and it is heartwarming to see how excited she gets.
On August 16, 2024, TikTok user Maddie the Baddie (@maddiethebad.e) shared a video of one of the many times the sweet Golden Retriever runs out to say hello to their friend's weekly visit. Take a look!
In a 30-second video, we meet Maddie, a Golden Retriever who lives in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and she loves the "bin men."

In the video, it looks to be early in the morning, and Maddie is outside practically buzzing because the garbage truck with its orange lights is just outside their house.
One of the workers comes out of the truck and walks to Maddie, who is so happy her tail is wagging her whole body. She's excited because the worker is coming to say hi and give her some pets.
The sweet dog is mindful of not getting too excited. She makes sure to stay in her yard and does not jump onto the road.
"I LOVE my bin men friends," the video's caption reads. In the comments, people fell in love with the cute bond between the worker and the pup.
One wrote, "Bet she is the highlight of the bin men's day!"
Another joked, "I'm on the way from Manchester."
Someone else added, "I may have to drive up just to get a wee cuddle."

This video isn't the first and only showing the cute bond between Maddie and the bin workers. There are several other videos on TikTok that shows how excited the workers get to see Maddie. And in each one, Maddie is just as happy as the video that we watched.
In a video posted on August 11, 2024, we see how happy and thrilled the workers are to see Maddie and how fast her fluffy tail wags when they walk to her to give her some pets.

It's so sweet to see the bone Maddie has with the garbage collectors and how excited everyone is to meet up each week. Maddie is also really sweet and respectful, keeping her distance and allowing people to approach her.
Golden Retrievers are known for being friendly dogs. Their temperament is why so many people fall in love with them and why they're such a popular dog breed.
According to the American Kennel Club , Golden Retrievers score highly for being "affectionate with family," "good with young children," and "good with other dogs."
The organization explains, "Goldens are outgoing, trustworthy, and eager-to-please family dogs and relatively easy to train. They take a joyous and playful approach to life and maintain this puppyish behavior into adulthood."
Golden Retrievers are social dogs and score highest for "openness to strangers," the American Kennel Club shares. They're also pretty playful and paired with being in the middle of the pack for being protective; it's the perfect mix for making adorable, heartwarming bonds like Maddie has with the garbage collectors.
