Hilarious Cat Enrichment Idea with Common Kitchen Item Is Downright Brilliant

If you’re a proud cat parent, I hate to break it to you, but your cat is probably bored. Cats are intelligent, curious creatures, and they can get bored easily.
cats required both physical and mental stimulation to keep them healthy and happy, and as the following video proves, proving them with stimulation doesn't have to be complicated or cost a lot of money.
The hilarious video was shared by the TikTok account for @ Twoloafladies and the description reads, "Just a friendly reminder that your cat's enrichment isn't a trend. That means do more than move a kitchen chair one time for them because you saw somebody on TikTok do it. Treat your cat like a toddler child and provide sensory play daily!"
People are loving this idea and one person commented, "I tried something similar to this and he has no interest. I put the step ladder in the living room while I cleaned and he thought it was the greatest thing ever." Another added, "I rotate my cats toys too! I don’t leave them all out at the same time and switch them around to keep her interested in them." Someone else added another cute idea with, "My cat has a “hunting box” which is a big cardboard box filled with paper, smaller boxes, etc and I throw a few pieces of kibble in there for him to find. It’s a huge hit!"
If you don't have cupcake liners or coffee filters around your house, here are some other ideas to help keep your cat active and engaged.
Other Cat Enrichment Ideas
I can't help it, I am a big fan of moving a chair to a different part of the room because most cats do like it, but here are some other low cost or free cat enrichment ideas.
Cats love playing in paper grocery sacks. Between the noise they make and cats crawling into them they always have a blast with a paper bag. Cardboard boxes and paper towel tubes are also a hit. A lot of cats go wild for water bottle caps or milk jug rings too.
You can get some old wrapping paper and ball it up for your cat to play with or crawl under too. A lot of cats also love a sheet thrown over a dining room table, just like human kids do!
Get a shallow food container or pan and add water and some of their plastic toys. Some cats love batting things in water.
And don't forget seeing up a perch for them in front of a window. Sensory play can be as easy as letting them watch the birds and squirrels outside.
