There are many advantages to having a dog with a high IQ. They learn quickly when training, and many are advanced enough to perform special tricks. However, they can also be exhausting with their sometimes human-like abilities.

This spirited Goldendoodle is a prime example of the challenges they can pose. Check out the hilarious trick she learned in the loo in this video shared on August 18:

Oh, my! Sweet Kimber (@ kimberthedoodlequeen ) has made quite a mess of the bathroom. Even though Dad may have just installed the new bidet, she's already an expert at using it. It's not even like she's trying to drink the water; she's just pleased to know she can make it come out. LOL! Thank goodness he learned of his high-IQ dog's new trick before the entire bathroom was flooded because it sure didn't look like she intended to stop anytime soon. I'm not sure if my dogs aren't smart enough or just not motivated, but whatever the reason, I'm thankful I haven't found them using the water in the bathroom yet.

    How Smart Are Goldendoodles?

Goldendoodles are known for their high intelligence, which is inherited from their parent breeds. According to the AKC, research by Professor Stanly Coren ranks the Poodle as the 2nd most intelligent dog , and Golden Retrievers rank 4th, so with her outstanding genetics, it's no surprise this clever girl could work the bidet. This makes them quick learners who are responsive to training and discovering new things. These beautiful dogs excel at obedience and can easily learn complex tasks, which is why they are often used as service or therapy dogs. Their intellect and friendly nature allow them to adapt to various situations, which helps them thrive as family pets or working dogs. However, regular training and mental stimulation are essential to ensure their well-being and to keep them out of mischief.

Pet parents were not surprised by this dog's ability to learn a new trick. Viewer @marmoo_grace responded, "My cat does this! He's flooded the bathroom at least three times." Oh my! They can be such rascals when they want to be. Viewer @sanpumita reported, "My bathroom remains closed at all times; otherwise, things like this happen on a daily basis, with a Doodle." They are sometimes too clever for their own good. Viewer @mammasauraus responded, "Damn! That's like a high-powered enema. Be careful! Maybe the dog is trying to save you." Ha! With her IQ, that may be true.

If your dog is too smart for their own good, at least you know you're in excellent company. And if you decide to install a bidet, make sure you close the bathroom door.
