Different things are important to different dogs — they're not all the same, even if they belong to the same species. Some really value a certain toy, while others couldn't care less about toys and instead get attached to their schedule of taking a long walk with their human at the same time every day. And for a lot of dogs, regardless of what else they enjoy, it's food that comes first, whether we're talking about favorite treats or just their daily meals. We all know that you can't mess with a dog and their food without regretting it!

And since dogs are such creatures of habit, it makes sense that when they eat their meals is an important detail, too. You've probably learned the hard way that you can't be late when you serve them, or else. Or, if you are the human who belongs to the dog in this TikTok video, even when you're early to serve dinner, you're late.

On Saturday, September 7, @wendyandrolo shared this footage of her English Bulldog , whose name is (perfectly enough) Rolo, throwing an actual tantrum because his food bowl is empty. The nerve of his humans not to keep that thing full and stocked!

However, he doesn't have much room to be angry — dinner isn't late, so his humans didn't actually do anything wrong. Does that stop him from being offended anyway, though? Of course not.

"It is 3:43," his mom can be heard saying in the background of the video. "You have an hour and 17 minutes until dinner time!"

Rolo doesn't care, though. He continues to make a mess, throwing around tennis shoes, refusing to make eye contact, and totally ignoring his mom. This guy must really be upset!

Clearly, poor Rolo is just wasting away. Won't someone feed the dog?!

    Rolo's Love for Food

Those who follow Rolo (and his sister, Wendy) on TikTok already know what a big deal food is to him — it wasn't just this one day that he felt the need to throw a tantrum!

In one of the videos, he really went in on a deep dive trying to make sure he got every last piece of kibble, and in another, he was begging for dinner before dinner was supposed to be served, just like he was in the one above. Rolo knows who he is, and he's sticking to it.

However, that does seem to be why so many people love him — over 70,000 of them on TikTok alone, to be exact — so honestly, I hope he never changes.

Now somebody go feed that dog!
