A group of adorable kittens have overtaken a swingset just like human kids would, and it's just as fun to watch them play as our own kids.
On September 8, 2024, TikTok user It's Just Colby Xoxo (@colby_lease_1013) shared a really cute video of a group of kittens playing on a swingset, and having the best time. Take a look!

At least four kittens are playing outside on a swingset that would typically be found in a community playground or a family's backyard. The swingset has a slide, a tire swing, a typical swing, bars, and ladders to climb. It looks like a really fun place for toddlers and young kids to hang out and burn off their energy. And, as we see in this video, it's perfect for kittens to do the same.
Several cats are playing on the top platform after climbing the stairs and ladders. Another kitten launches itself down the slide at a comical speed, and when the cat slides off and onto the grass, you can see they've got the fun zoomies. The kitten runs a little before hopping back up on the slide, trying to climb up but failing.
Right when that kitten turns its back while still on the bottom of the slide, another kitten goes down the slide, causing the first kitten to jump and do a cool flip as they both slide down to the grass.
It's clear that all the kittens are having a great time, and it's an amazing idea on how to help kittens get out their energy, just like parents do with their human toddlers.
"Kittens are so funny," the video's caption reads, and in the comments that people shared how much they loved watching these kittens play.
One wrote, "I could watch this all day!"

How Much Exercise Does a Kitten Need in a Day?
Exercise is really good for kittens and cats, just like it is for puppies, dogs, and humans. It also has some big benefits for everyone.
"Cats who exercise daily are generally less anxious, experience less pain associated with joint disease, and have less significant weight gain throughout their lives," Animal Humane Society writes.
"Not only does daily exercise help a cat maintain a healthy weight, but exercise also engages a cat's mind, enhancing their quality of life."
Kittens need more exercise in a day than senior cats, but all cats seem to be hardwired for it since they're typically very curious creatures. Unlike dogs, you don't need to take your cat out for a walk to exercise. There are a lot of different ways you can encourage it, and play is the best bet.
"From laser toys that are great for getting the mind and body active to wand toys or foam balls, playing with your cat is the best way to encourage them to run and jump," the site explains.
