Dogs who love their fur siblings are too pure for this world, especially when they show their affection in adorably unique ways. Golden Retriever Lincoln is obsessed with his kitty brother Mo, and he proves it by nibbling—aka "cobbing"— the feline's fur, which is a great sign of respect in pet world.

In a September 16, 2024 TikTok video posted by @3orangebros , the Golden can't help but cobble his bestie because he loves and trusts him so much. This is his way of saying "thank you for loving me, Mo!" Take a look!

In the clip captioned, "Cobbing is dangerous," Lincoln is seen in a series of moments captured on camera as the tolerant kitty allows the pup to cobble on him. This 100% proves how special their bond is because having a dog's teeth on your skin takes a massive amount of trust!

In a short amount of time, this clip has already garnered more than 15k likes with many people popping in to give Mo props for being so laid back about Lincoln's cobbing ways.

"That's some aggressive affection. I freaking love it," one person wrote.

"They are soulmates and have had many lives together," another said.

"The safe word is meatloaf… because I’d do anything for love, but I won’t do that," another joked.

Mo and Lincoln's pet parent said of the nibbling that, Mo "loves it even if he gets his fur eaten in the process," because "the cat is his dad" who "helped raise him," making their bond extra special!

    Why Do Dogs Cobble?

Obviously, Lincoln means no harm to Mo. It's actually the opposite. He's taking great care to be thoughtful and careful with the furry feline. Dr. Joseph Menicucci, DVM, told Catster that dogs who lightly nibble on cats with their front teeth are typically doing one of three things: grooming, trying to play, or communicating something.

The mutual grooming that happens between pets is how they show their love, while the more aggressive nibbling is way to initiate play. Many animals use their mouths to convey this! Nibbling is a completely normal way for pets to groom each other, which shows their love of their companion. As long as it's done gently, it's a "sign of affection and bonding," and nothing to worry about (unless things get a little rough).

The bottom line is, Lincoln loves Mo and he wants to show it any way he can. It just so happens to be in the cutest way ever (and Mo doesn't mind)!
