Stray Dog BFFs Meet Up to Watch the Sunset Together and It's Magical

There is absolutely no doubt that the life of a stray dog is a pretty tough one. Not only do they lack a loving family and comfortable home to sleep at night, but there's also no guarantee of where their next meal comes from, not to mention the fact that there are so many dangerous things (and creatures) they can encounter on any given day. But at the same time, it has to be at least a little fun sometimes; these dogs are free and go on adventures and meet other dogs (hey, I'm trying to look on the bright side here).

Even so, the life of stray dogs will never be quite as cool as what we've seen it to be in movies like Homeward Bound and Lady & the Tramp, but the pups in this TikTok video are basically living in one of those movies. They might not have much, but they most certainly have each other.

In this TikTok video that was shared by @annaliesemaya over the weekend from her trip to Bali, we get to see some truly magical footage.

Apparently, these stray dogs all have a nightly meet up spot, but what they're doing isn't just barking at each other and trading stray dog war stories — they're actually doing something pretty cool (at least from a human's point of view."

She wrote, "A bunch of stray dogs all meet up at sunset at the golf course and then went and sat down to watch the sunset together."

Sure enough, there are the four pups, gathering together and then walking to the same spot to get comfy on the green and look at the sky. After a long day of running around, they probably really enjoyed that peaceful moment with their besties — or at least, I like to think so.

How to Help a Stray Pet

If you find a stray pet while you're going about your business and want to help them, there are a few actions that the American Humane Society recommends that you take.

First, remember that you're not necessarily looking at a dog who's never had a home — there's also a chance that they are lost, and their mom or dad is somewhere worried sick. To have the best chance at reuniting them or finding a good forever home for the pup, you should start by trying to safely capture them inside a carrier, box, or a room inside your house, away from other pets you may have. (If the animal seems aggressive, call your local animal control.)

Next, you'll want to check the dog for ID. If they're not wearing a tag, you can take them to a local animal shelter, where they can find out if they're microchipped. They will be able to help you with next steps.

I hope these dogs continue their meet ups... or are all adopted into one family so they're together forever. They should watch every sunset with their BFFs!
