Wedding planning is an exciting, nerve-wracking thing. There's a lot to do, and in the moment, it can feel like everything is moving at a million miles per hour. Only when you're out of the thick of it can you step back and see the sweeter, softer parts you were missing in the moment.

For one dog mom, the moment she'll watch over and over forever came on Tuesday, September 24th, when she caught her Golden Retriever watching her practice their first dance. The moment is so sweet, you'll want to grab some tissues before you watch:

The award for "making me cry before 10am" officially goes to @ali.iwai. "This girl has been watching me since I was 13," she says. I'm never recovering.

Marley became a star overnight, and she deserves ever bit of her newfound fame. When she was watching her mom and soon-to-be dad practice their first dance, there's not an ounce of jealousy there. It's just love. If they weren't going to be crying enough on their wedding day, now they'll have this to remember when they're having their real first dance!

Marley is just a happy girl in general: she loves her sister, Maya, and she still plays whenever she can. She actually broke her hip recently and had to have surgery, but she's recovered well. Unfortunately, her mom said in the comments that Marley and Maya won't be able to attend the destination wedding, but they'll be thinking of them the whole time.

Is It Safe to Travel With Senior Dogs?

Marley and Maya won't be attending the wedding; the logistics of getting dogs to and from destination weddings like this can be tricky, It's another thing to add to an already full plate, and honestly, probably not the best decision.

Senior dogs who are in good health can travel, but everything they do needs to be planned with expert care. For example, your dog will need paperwork to show that they're in good health, vaccinated, etc. If they're on any medication, which senior dogs often are, you'll typically need to provide paperwork for that.

Traveling can be uncomfortable for senior dogs, too. They're either crammed into a plane or crammed into a car, and sitting for too long can worsen their stiff joints. Short rides are okay, but honestly, it's often best to just do things with them at home. They'll be just as happy, if not more.

While Ali and her groom are off getting married, Marley and Maya will be looked after by people who will treat them like the stars they are. The happy couple will find a way to honor them!
