Fall is officially here, which means cooler air, pumpkin spice lattes, and cozy sweaters all around. No one is more excited for the start of the season than Stella the Golden Retriever, and her favorite part is so on-brand, she earned the name "Queen of Leaves!"

In a recent compilation posted on Instagram by @dognamedstella, the fall-loving pup immerses herself in the beauty of fall, and it's the picture of pure joy. Take a look at Stella's creative hiding spots!

"In Stellabration of the best season ever, we’re using this week to throw it back to some leafy classics. Here’s Stella hiding in her little leaf pile nests," the caption says.

In the clip, the happy Labrador is seen hiding deep in the pile of leaves, with only her nose sticking out. Throughout the different autumn scenes, Stella's dad searches for the sneaky pup, only to see just a tail happily wagging while the rest of her remains buried in her favorite thing—leaves!

This sweet girl is known for her excitement over leaf piles which is exactly why some of her 881k followers just had to stop by and support all things autumn right along with Stella.

"This should be the new 'Where's Waldo?' but with Stella," one person suggested.

"Makes me want to hide in there with her!" another said.

"She is the world champion of camouflage!" another added.

Thankfully, this is only the beginning of the "Stellabration." There will be many more leaf piles and many more views of a very happy Lab!

    Why Dogs Love Leaf Piles

Stella isn't the only autumn-obsessed dog out there, and Dogster says there are a couple reasons why they might enjoy jumping in a pile of leaves . The first is obvious: it's fun! In the same way kids love hopping into a big, crunchy pile of leaves to catch their fall, dogs do, too.

Likewise, the scents of the leaves trigger a dog's sensory system. If the leaves fell off of trees where other animals like squirrels or other wild animals may have been, they could be trying to sniff them out through rolling in the leaves. Or, by rubbing themselves in the pile, they're trying to transfer their own scent as a way of marking territory. Smart!

If you've ever reacted to seeing your pup rollicking and rolling in a big pile, they might be trying to garner that same reaction again. They get a kick out of the attention it might get them!

Stella seems to have real joy from her leaf pile activities, so here's to another great season with fall's number one Labrador!
