All dogs have their own talent or special skill — I firmly believe that. For my dog, it's being the most patient and tolerant pup out there, whether she's not fighting back when our cat picks a fight, or the way she sits still and lets my daughter dress her up in capes and hats and even sunglasses, knowing how happy it makes her. Some dogs are really excellent at fetch, and some dogs have totally mastered the art of running long distances without running out of steam. And for some dogs, that talent is jumping.

Yes, it can be an extremely inconvenient skill for a pet parent to cope with, since dogs who can jump very high are usually excellent escape artists. Case in point: The pup in this TikTok video, who can make it over an impressively high wall. How does she do this?!

For those of you wondering why Betsy has a sign on her kennel that says "escape artist" 😅💙 #marl #animalshelter #rescuedog

The official TikTok account for the Michigan Animal Rescue League shared a video that was meant to explain "why Betsy has a sign on her kennel that says 'escape artist,' and yep, I'd definitely say that this makes it very clear.

Because even in this short clip that was shared last week, we can see this pup jump high enough that she can get over the incredibly tall door on her outdoor kennel, make it to the other side, and let herself enjoy the play area without any assistance from humans.

This is so impressive — Betsy might be a dog, but she's giving serious kangaroo vibes with those jumping skills.

Commenters were just as in awe as I was, with one person writing, "I’m super impressed. I think it might break my heart to know why Betsy got so good at escaping. Hope she finds a home she never wants to escape from."

    More About Betsy

If also you fell in love with Betsy and her talents, you may be happy to know that this sweet (and very athletic) girl is still available for adoption .

According to her page on the MARL website, she is an two year old Carolina Dog/Labrador Retriever Mix, and they recommend that she be placed in a home without children or cats, though they do believe that she should be able to get along with other dogs.

"Once she's comfortable, she will become your best friend for life," says her description on the site. "Energetic and playful, a great day for Betsy starts with playtime with people and other dogs and ends with lots of one-on-one time in someone's lap."

Here's hoping that Betsy will find her perfect forever home soon... and that they have a really high fence.

I want this doggy I want a dog so bad I can just absolutely run up there and grab one right now. obviously if I was able to do that financially I would be there already. I can't even feed myself to be completely honest to get a dog and not be able to feed him or her either. I want to be all the way completely set financially before I get one of these little guys p
