I've always been a big fan of Roger and Anita's meet cute at the beginning of 101 Dalmatians. Two total strangers, walking in the park, who just so happen to have dogs of the same breed who get them tangled up in a leash... and from there, they lived happily ever after (well, I skipped a few plot points, but we've all seen the movie). It's not something that happens in real life very often, especially in a time when it feels like everyone meets online instead of out in the real world.

But I am pleased to announce that dog-related meet cutes can still happen, even when many of us start our love stories on dating apps. This couple — and their Golden Retriever and Chocolate Labrador pups — are all the proof I need to know that true love exists!

In this sweet TikTok video that was shared by @reneeeeali , she shared that while she matched with her current partner on Hinge, the real match was between their dogs, a Golden Retriever and a chocolate Lab .

It all started with the first message. Ryan's profile picture featured him and his pup, the Golden, riding in the car together, and after Renee liked the photo, he sent her a message, saying, "Why do I feel like our dogs would be best friends?"

He was right... and it seems like it didn't take very long for them to figure that out. Between playing together at the dog park, taking walks together, cuddling, and watching movies in bed (with their humans, of course), at this point, it's probably safe to say that these two dogs are inseparable. They even share their toys!

As multiple people pointed out in the comments, these humans have no choice but to get married. If they broke up and the dogs could never see each other anymore, that would be the absolute worst kind of heartbreak!

An Update on This Adorable Love Story

After their video went viral, Renee and Ryan were more than happy to share an update on their dogs' love story — and, of course, their own.

The good news: These cute dog parents are still going very strong, and they seem to have fallen In love just as quickly as their pups did. "Just as happy as the dogs are," Renee confirmed in a video she shared on September 25.

Even better news: The dogs are just as close as they were when they first met, and Renee has continued to share videos of them playing and snoozing together on TikTok. This is the content we need!

May they all continue to live happily ever after!
