Oh, to be an orange cat getting spoiled by a pet parent with your very own cat-friendly digs! Such is the case with Kurt whose dad created the coolest little spot meant only for the kitty, and it's total DIY inspiration.

YouTuber Abram Engle (@abrameng) posted the process of putting his beloved Kurt's new cat room together, and it's jaw-dropping! Take a look!

    KURTS NEW SECRET HIDEOUT šŸ¤Æ

In the video that's captioned, "Kurt's new secret hideout," Engle says he started by filling an extra closet with some of Kurt's favorite things, including toys, a rug, and a picture of the king kitty. To make is "secret" he added a cardboard barrier with a small cutout that allows Kurt to come and go.

Once the curious cat walked in, it took him no time to investigate, giving his final approval by sitting on his toy pool table to guard the entrance from intruders.

"I think he loved it," Engle said. "He was there for a while just taking it all in."

It's no wonder more than 50,000 of Engle's 10.8 million followers are all over this video. It's simple enough that anyone can do it and any cat would be so lucky.

"This is why cats love us, and have developed the distribution system," one person joked.

"Kurt is living the high life. Such a sweet baby boy," another said.

"Love it. Better not show my two, they will want one each," another added.

Kurt is one lucky dude, but with a little creativity, you can do the same thing for the felines in your life!

How Much Space Do Cats Need To Themselves?

The idea of making a dedicated cat room is a good one, but Catster says the space they need doesn't have to be much to be impactful. In an apartment larger than 300 square feet, you'd only need 20 square feet per indoor cat, for them and their supplies (litter, litter box, scratching post, a bed, and toys).

If you have multiple cats, it'll take a bit more space. Some cats can be territorial, so consider offering different vantage points with a cat tower , separate litter boxes, and enough room for each feline to navigate without feeling the crunch of sharing with others.

The great thing about cats is they really don't need a ton of space, and even if you can't give them a whole spare closet like Kurt, they're happy if they have enough mental stimulation and space to explore.
