A beautiful Dalmatian could barely contain his excitement after his mom came home, and his "silent scream" joy is just so cute.

On September 30, 2024, TikTok user Grey the Dalmatian (@greythedalmatian) shared a video of the cute dog's reaction when his person comes home. It's hilarious but also endearing. Take a look!

In a quick video shared on social media , we get a good feel for how much a beautiful Dalmatian is loved based on how much he loves back.

"They say to ignore your dog when you get home, but this is my dog..." the text on the video reads. And it becomes super clear why Grey the Dalmatian is so happy to see their parent that they're buzzing, vibrating, and doing a "silent scream" simultaneously.

The pup is up on the deck while their parent is taking the video from below, but even at the distance, it's adorable to see how quickly they spot their person and how quickly they just react in this adorable, funny, weird, sweet way.

"The best welcome home," the video's caption reads, and the comment section filled with more than 1200 reactions.

One wrote, "Whoever said to ignore your dog when you get home is cruel. They wait all day for you. How could you ignore precious faces like that???"

Another shared, "Why would I ignore the best part of my day?"

Someone else added, "My dog pees a little with excitement when I get home, no one else in my life does that for me so I shan’t be ignoring him when I arrive home."

Another joked, "Whoever would say that? I’ll ignore everyone else but my dog."

One said, "Never ignore! Such short lives, and they’ve been waiting all day for you."

Someone else asked, "Whoever said that should not own a dog? How can you resist this precious baby? They give us the best love ever. I feel so sad for other dogs that people don't give them love like they deserve it."

    What Temperament Do Dalmatians Have?

According to Hill's Pet Nutrition , Dalmatian dogs are full of energy, playful, and sensitive.

"They are loyal to their family and good with children, although some Dalmatian experts caution that the breed may be too energetic for very small children," the experts share. "These dogs are intelligent, can be well trained, and make good watchdogs."

Hill's Pet Nutrition notes that some Dalmatians are "reserved" or may be "aggressive" toward strangers and dogs. However, some are "timid if they are not well socialized," and others "can be high-strung."

The American Kennel Club describes Dalmatians as "smart, outgoing, and dignified," adding that this dog breed is also "reserved and dignified" and can be "bright, loyal, and loving house dogs."

These dogs love their people, and if Grey the Dalmatian is any indication, you'll have a lot of fun stories to share, too.
