Comedian Nikki Glaser's Dog Waits Backstage for Her Like a True #1 Fan

American stand-up comedian, television host, actress, podcast host and writer Nikki Glaser is also a huge animal advocate and dog mom.

She is currently on tour for her Alive and Unwell comedy show and she posted the sweetest TikTok of one of her very best fans waiting for her backstage.

The precious video was posted to @ Nikkiglaser TikTok account and fans can't get enough. It's just so touching when she stops to hug and kiss her little Chihuahua.  One person said, "Omg. We do not deserve them!!! You are her everything." Another added, "Oh my. She spotted you! The tail wags! I can’t!" Someone else responded, "That little friend is so proud of you."

In June Glaser shared this pupdate on her Instagram page about her newest fur baby.

The post reads, "I just adopted my third dog from @maedayrescue and she’s perfect just like the other two. She doesn’t have a name yet because I’m scared of commitment. That’s also why I have a dog instead of a kid. Please send suggestions! Follow @maedayrescue and their founder @nataliewould to show your support. #adoptdontshop #breedersaregreeders

It's so great that she's using her huge platform to advocate for dog adoption, and with October being adopt-a-dog month now is a great time to add a fur baby to your family.

There may be other events in your own town or city, so it's best to check with your local animal shelter, Humane Society or breed specific rescue.

Mango Shotta Tequila is hosting an adoption event for the month of October where the brand is covering the adoption fees for 31 dogs (up to $300 via Venmo) this October in honor of Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. They are also having a contest for a new 'spokesdog' where the winer will win $20,000 and become the new face of Mango Shotta.

From October 1-15, 2024, BISSELL Pet Foundation is hosting its Fall National Empty the Shelters™ event , the largest funded pet adoption initiative in the country, with over 360 shelters participating across 43 states. Adopters are offered the chance to bring home fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered pets for $50 or less.

Mars brands will be covering $100,000 in adoption fees during Mars Pet Adoption weekend - In the United States, between October 11-13, Mars will cover more than $100,000 in cat and dog adoption fees at 18 partner shelter locations in 14 U.S. cities. In addition, to bolster support of homeless dogs, PEDIGREE Foundation will also cover an additional $35,000 in dog adoption fees across U.S. shelters.
