Bengal Cat's Grumpy 'Blanket Tunnel Time' Is Too Funny to Miss

Cats love to whine. They love to be grumpy, even if they're only faking it to get out attention. Most cat parents would admit that they feel personally victimized by their cat at least once a day.

Thursday, October 3rd was no exception for one Bengal cat's mom. Her kitty was having her daily blanket tunnel time, where she wraps herself completely in a blanket, and enjoying her grumbling. When mom gets close, though, everything changes, and her raspy meows are everything:

If i had to describe what my soul looks like, I think I would just pull up this video. Chloe the Bengal is a perfect description of how I feel at all times.

Chloe the Bengal might be the grumpiest girl since Grumpy Cat herself (may she rest in peace), but she's earned it! Her mom says that she's seventeen years old, which you can totally hear in her meow: as cats get older, their meows get deeper/raspier. Being a Bengal cat, Chloe rarely lets anyone go more than five minutes without hearing her voice!

The entire subject of the TikTok page is basically two things: Chloe's crunchy meows and her love of that blanket. The two things usually end up crossing over; she meows when she's really comfortable, when she isn't, and pretty much every other waking moment. It's not uncommon for a cat to have a favorite blanket: once something gets their scent on it, they perceive it as being theirs, and it'll be hard to get it back. Luckily, her mom doesn't mind!

Bengals Are Some of the Most Animated Cats

Though dog people usually don't realize it, what cat breed you choose really does make as much of a difference as what dog breed you choose does. Some breeds are more chill, while others need a lot more entertainment. Some have more intense grooming needs, others don't. Some yap 24/7, while others are quieter.

If you're looking for adventure and a feline friend who will keep you on your toes, a Bengal is the kitty for you. First of all, they're breathtaking, with an almost cheetah-like print down their backs. Second, they love to play and need a lot of exercise, enrichment, and interaction with humans or other animals to be happy. They're known to be loud, and they have a higher prey drive than most cats.

Bengal cats originated in the US, much like the Maine Coon, which is the breed people usually say is the "closest match." However, Maine Coons are bred from two domestic cat species (a domestic shorthair and a long-haired Angora) while Bengals are actually bred from domestic shorthairs and the Asian Leopard Cat, which is technically a wild cat species! As a result, Bengal cats tend to be a little harder to "tame" and train, though they're total sweeties when you get to know them. Unless you interrupt their blanket tunnel time...
