Cats love to bring their pet parents little gifts. The fun part is, you never know if it's going to be a random sock or an animal friend in need. But they're so gracious to offer anything at all. Moet, the blind Persian cat, loves to bring Mom "breakfast" in the form of a toy offering because it makes her happy to make Mom happy.

Moet doesn't let her blindness stop her from channeling her inner cat instincts of catching something special to give to Mom. Watch this sweetheart in action!

Clearly, @moettheblindcat knows how to tug at the heartstrings with this one. Moet was rescued from a pet shop after catching the cat flu and losing her sight, but now she and her lookalike sister Chandie are absolutely thriving.

"I bought that mum breakfast and I’m meowing with pride at my gift," the caption says. "Don’t worry…she said thank you."

Mom hit the jackpot with such a giving kitty. Who else brings "breakfast" in such an adorable way? Moet's followers can't help but fall head over heels for the kitty's generous ways.

"Omg those meows r melting my heart," one person wrote. "Moet is THE SWEETEST BABY EVER. 1 million kisses," another said. "Awwww precious punk’n!!" another added.

With a breakfast like this, Mom's day surely got off to a fantastic start!

Why Cats Bring Pet Parents "Gifts"

There are many stories across the web of cats bringing their pet parents some of the strangest things, like items they've stolen from neighbors or leaves. The reason why they love bringing these gifts , according to PetMD, depends on their motivation.

If they're looking to play, your kitty might bring you a toy when you return home from work or to greet you in the morning. They know (because cats are smart), that by offering you something, you might be more likely to give in to playing with them or giving them the attention they want. If they're doing this a lot, they might be asking for more dedicated playtime with you, so be sure you're providing them enough physical and mental stimulation.

If they've brought in an unwanted gift, like prey, it's because they're innate hunters . It's an instinct taught from their mother early on, so they want to share that successful hunt with their pet parent. So really, they're sharing something special with you even if it's kind of gross or weird. How sweet! This is a case like Moet where it really is the thought that counts!
