Maine Coons are highly expressive and sociable cats. They are so outgoing and fearless that they are often compared to dogs, accompanying their humans on walks or car rides. While early life experiences can influence their boldness, this personality type also appears ingrained in their DNA.

A perfect example is these fearless kittens, who allow nothing to hold them back. Their tiny voices have much to say as they explore the world around them, making them even harder to resist.

It’s even more impressive that even when they take a little tumble or things don’t go as planned, they aren’t deterred a bit. Nor do they seem afraid to try new things, like jumping into the tub or crawling up their human mom’s leg with their precious thumbs. Even though it’s unlikely they’ll be able to nurse for much longer at this size, there was still a 10-cat pile-up attempting to fight for a spot for Mama. How funny! It’s hard to imagine how much positive energy and joy they must bring to a household. However, there’s undoubtedly a lot of chaos that comes with this cuteness, too.

At What Age Do Kittens Begin Exploring?

These tiny fluff balls don’t stay babies for long. According to PetMD, kittens start to explore their immediate surroundings at only three weeks old. While they cannot run or chase after things, their coordination is developing. But by week four, they will have built up some confidence and strength, helping them walk, run, and play. Most kittens use the litter box and can even play with toys at this stage.
