Goldendoodle's Reaction To Not Being Invited To Soccer Practice Is Adorably Heartbreaking

Anyone who has a dog living under their roof knows exactly what it's like to have to say goodbye to your pup when you can tell they really don't want to be left behind. Sometimes it's because they have separation anxiety, sometimes it's because they just don't want to be left alone, and sometimes it's because they know we're going somewhere they wish they could go, too.

Unfortunately, not every place we go is a good place to bring a dog, especially when the activity is a kid's soccer practice — there are way too many balls to chase there! But that didn't stop the Goldendoodle in the video below from trying his hardest to guilt trip his family into taking him with them anyway.

In this clip shared by @byebobfreedomdog on Wednesday, October 8, we see a Goldendoodle pup named Bob (great name, by the way) waiting by the front door, and he is very clearly ready to go to soccer practice with his human sister. I mean, there's never been a dog more prepared to leave the house — not only is he standing on his hind legs like a person, but he's also dressed in a pink hoodie (you know, just in case it gets a little chilly at the field).

Still, even all that readiness didn't convince his mom to bring him along! He continued to give her the saddest eyes anyone has ever seen, as if he was still holding out hope she'd change her mind.

"You be a good boy here and we'll see you when we get back and I'll give you treats," Bob's mom promised.

And then, to add insult to injury, she turned the camera around where another dog was waiting and looking sad. At least they have each other?!

    Bob's Unique Standing Habit

So the standing up thing wasn't just because he wanted to appear ready for soccer. According to the other videos on Bob's TikTok, this is something he does quite often — and it's always behind that mirror right in front of the door.

Oh, and it always seems to be when they're leaving the house, too, just so he can be prepared to make his argument for coming with.

Apparently, there's a reason why many dogs do this, even if it may or may not apply to Bob. According to Wag!, dogs who sit or stand like humans may be trying to relieve pain or pressure on their hips, which could be a sign that a vet visit is in order.

It's also possible that they stood on their hind legs once, got a good reaction out of their humans for it, and now do it more often to get more of that positive reaction. That might be Bob's deal, because people can't get enough of him.

I just hope one day, he gets to go to soccer practice. He deserves it!
