Is it Halloween yet? No. Does that stop companies from putting out the holiday decor for holidays after Halloween, starting now? Also no. Walk into just about any store right now and you'll definitely find at least one gnome, elf, or ugly-sweater-dressed ceramic figurine.

Costco is no exception! As of October 8th, Costco shoppers were finding the sweetest little holiday-themed pillows in a variety of styles. Unsurprisingly, the universal favorite seems to be the one with the cute Black Labrador in it:

Thank goodness for Costco Hot Finds! If not for them, there are far too many cool things I'd have missed out on!

Though Halloween and the later holidays may be out at the same time at the moment, plenty of people have room in their hearts for both... even if our wallets are crying for help. Marketing is only getting more accurate; companies are making more holiday-themed dog products than ever, and they're impossible to resist.

The pillow in this video that the dog parents are losing it over has a Black Labrador Retriever sitting on it, wearing a Santa hat while tangled up in some Christmas lights. It's definitely festive, and it looks pretty sizable, especially for that $9.99 price tag. You can find them in the Costco app, too, though commenters are saying they're more expensive than the in-warehouse price. Oh, no, looks like I'm going to need to go to

How to Stop Dogs Eating Throw Pillows

Someone in the comments said, "my Rottweilers would love these," and I really felt that. There are some dogs who wouldn't dream of hurting our pillows, while others are dreaming of nothing but permission to have free-rein to tear up all of our cutest home decor pieces. Don't feel bad if you have that dog; it's not too late!

Early on in having your dog, whether they're a puppy or a rambunctious rescue, you need to establish clear "toy" vs. "not toy" boundaries. They will try to play with everything, and if you don't correct them, there is no way for them to learn! Always avoid antagonizing with with or playing with items like:

    1. Your fingers, hands, or feet.
    2. Shoes, slippers, or socks.
    3. Pillows or blankets.
    4. Stuffed animals that you don't want to be toys.

While letting your pup on the couch and the bed is fine, you should make sure you don't play there, at least until they have a decent grasp on toy vs. not toy. If you rile them up on your couch, they're going to reach for the closest thing, which might just be your cute Black Lab throw pillow! In the event that they really can't keep their paws off of it, you can try putting it away for a while or spritzing it with a little bit of lemon juice to deter them.
