Every dog parent knows that you don't mess with the routine! If it's time for dinner, your pup won't tolerate waiting .1 second past the usual time and they have no problem letting you know it. Olive, the Bernese Mountain Dog, feels this to her core, because it's time for "walkies" and she's not just telling Mom about it—she's showing her.

Olive knows what's up, so when Mom hesitates to rush out the door, this sassy pup does her best interpretive dance to help her to get the hint that it's time to go! Watch her in action and prepare to be mesmerized!

She got the moves and we'e glad @olivethebmd decided to share it with the world! Per her TikTok bio, this "100% certified good girl" obviously takes her daily walks with mom seriously. What a special dance she taught herself to help convey how strongly she feels about them. She should consider teaching classes to other pups to share her talents!

Bernese Mountain Dogs Have Energy to Burn

Being in the "working dog" class, Dogster says Bernese Mountain Dogs need regular exercise to fill that void. As a breed that was bred "to keep Swiss farmers company, pull carts, and watch over the livestock," they either need a job to do or enough activity that they're physically fulfilled.

But how much exercise do these sweet pups actually need? Though it depends on each individual dog, most Berners should get about an hour of dedicated exercise per day, which should be split into two short sessions so they don't wear out all in one hour.

Bernese Mountain Dogs are known to be a high-energy dog with puppy-like personalities that can last for years. They absolutely adore their people and serve as amazing guardians for people and animals alike.

Other activities these intelligent dogs enjoy are swimming, fetch, cart pulling, puzzle toys, hiking, and digging. Olive's love for her daily "walkies" also proves how much they thrive on routine and spending time with their favorite people—especially if it gets them outside in the sunshine where they can immerse themselves in nature.

So, the next time your pup is due for "walkies," just remember—it's their world and we're just the lucky ones who get the privilege of being in it!
