Courageous Corgi Confronts Haunted House with the Curiosity of a Young Explorer

As much as I love all things fall and celebrating Halloween every year, my dog does not feel the same way. While she doesn't mind the decorations around the house and in our neighborhood, she isn't a big fan of humans wearing costumes (especially masks). And on Halloween night? Forget it. The constant knocking and doorbell ringing is so stressful for her — though it might not be if she didn't feel it was her duty to alert us every single time someone came within 100 feet of our driveway!

But if she did enjoy Halloween, I'd want our celebrations to look exactly like this video, starring the bravest Corgi ever. Of course, I would never be able to pull off creating a haunted house this cool — he has a truly impressive dad!

Dog dad Ryen Lung (who can be found @vlogaftercollege on Instagram) built his adorable Corgi pup , Gatsby, the cutest dog-sized haunted house, and it had all the thrills and chills a regular one would. There were bats, creepy doors opening as if by themselves, and even a corridor of ghosts that Gastby had to make his way through!

This dog wasn't phased one bit, though — even as the house got scarier as he continued to make his way through. Creepy mask wearing spirits started popping out at him, and spiders came seemingly out of nowhere. But Gatsby was not deterred.

Once he made his way through the graveyard, he was transfixed by a disco ball...  but quickly got back on task to head to the exit, where his dad was waiting to surprise him while wearing a werewolf mask for one last spook.

I am seriously impressed that Gatsby made it to the end. That haunted house might have even been too scary for some humans!

    More About Gatsby

Seeing the level of detail that went into this haunted house (and what a special dog Gatsby must be for getting through it without even breaking a sweat) it's no surprise that he and Ryen have amassed quite a following online. Not only do over 87,000 people follow them on Instagram, but their YouTube channel is quite popular, too — we're talking 824,000!

While many of their videos are creative like the haunted house video, others just show what their daily routines are like. Here, we can see a peek into Gatsby's morning , which starts with giving his dad 900 kisses. If only we could all wake up looking that cute!

Gatsby is so popular he even hosts his own meet and greets at dog conventions. I do not doubt he had a long line of people waiting to see him.

My fingers are crossed that Ryen and Gatsby have something amazing planned for the upcoming holidays, too. I need to see Gatsy in a dog-sized gingerbread house!
