Tortoiseshell Cat Takes Sister on Tour of the Family House Like the Perfect Little Host

Cats are really strange creatures. They love to cuddle, but they'll turn on us on a dime when it's time to play. They have legitimate predatory instincts, and yet most of our kitties would not survive even a few days in the wild.

Some of them moonlight as tour guides, apparently. Recently, a cat mom took to TikTok to share that her cat does something really strange: whenever their human mom leaves, she takes her sister on a tour of the family house. The one she lives in. We don't know why, but we know it's literally hilarious:

I love this life for @_saturn_. Things could be worse! The cat could be screaming whether she abides by the rules or not!

Unfortunately, we have no idea what this epic tour guide's name is. All we know is that she keeps her sister on the right path: if she starts to stray at all, kitty meows up a storm to redirect her. It's kind of hard to get lost that way, which is exactly what she's going for.

Some may argue that it's also hard to get lost in your own house, where you live, because you live there, but... she doesn't need to hear that. What you do before or after the tour is not her business. Take the tour, pay with pets, tip with treats, and no one gets hurt!

Why Do Cats Love to Show Us Stuff?

The best part of any video where a cat exhibits a weird behavior is when the comments are all piping up like, "yes, my cat also does this!" It could be the weirdest thing in the world, but it doesn't matter!

Walking us around, strutting in front of us, and showing us their favorite places and things are all signs that your cat is proud, loves you , and wants your attention. They might have found something cool they think you'll like, or they might be happy with the way they've "arranged" their cat tree. Or, maybe they just want you to look at them because they know they're gorgeous. Some common things your cat will bring to your attention include:

1. Their favorite toys.
2. Pieces of food or treats.
3. Their favorite room in the house.
4. Their butts.
5. Something they've hunted, like a bug.

Unless it's something gross, you should just go with it: they just want you to pay attention to them. Praise them, pet them, and let them know you're really seeing it. Then, for an added bonus, watch how they walk afterwards: their strut gets 10 times sassier!
