A cute white Borzoi gave their parent a really funny side-eye after they were caught trying to steal a cookie.
On October 14, 2024, Jayme Stone (@zarwoe.oligarch) shared a video of a really adorable Borzoi who tried to steal a treat and was very upset when it didn’t work. Take a look!
In a short video posted to Instagram we meet Zarwoe, a gorgeous white Borozoi who really wanted a cookie.

The clip starts with Zarwoe in the same room with their dad who is sitting at a table. On the table is a plate of cookies and Zarwoe is trying to figure out how to steal one without their dad noticing. But their dad is too close to the cookies, so it’s going to be a tough task.
Making it even more complicated for the pup, their other parent has spotted what they’re trying tod, and there’s now a camera pointed at them as well.
Zarwoe had no option other than aborting their mission to steal a cookie that they wanted so badly. And they blamed their parent behind the lens.
As Zarwoe walks past the camera, the glamorous dog pauses for a moment and slightly turns their head back to the camera, giving the most epic side-eye letting their parent know they know they were caught, and they’re not happy about it.
“I have a Zarwoe-specialty. Do you know what it is?” the video’s caption reads. “It’s my side eye. Wait till the end…and you will have it. And I keep looking until I get what I want.”

Interesting Facts About Borzoi
The beautiful and elegant Borzoi isn’t a breed we see a lot of, but it’s always stunning to see one. They sort of look like a Greyhound wearing a sweater with a stunning long-haired coat.
According to the American Kennel Club, Borzoi dogs are “loyal, affectionate, [and] regally dignified.” They’re part of the hound group and can weigh up to 105 pounds and grow 28 inches tall. The average life expectancy of Borzois is 9-14 years, and they are generally very healthy dogs.
"In their quiet, catlike way they can be stubborn, and training is best accomplished with patience, consistency, and good humor," the club explains.
"Affectionate family dogs, Borzoi are nonetheless a bit too dignified to wholeheartedly enjoy a lot of roughhousing. The sight of a cat or squirrel on the run will quickly stir their pursuit instinct, and fenced-in running room is a must."
