It’s not often someone is excited to visit the bank but for a Boston Terrier Pit Bull Mix, it might be his favorite errand to run ever.

On October 17, 2024, TikTok user Valerie M Simoneau (@valeriemsimoneaux8) shared an adorable video of her sweet dog who loves to bank. Take a look!

In a 12-second video posted to TikTok, we meet a beautiful Boston Terrier Pit Bull mix can barely contain himself when his mom pulls up to the drive through bank.

“Every time we go to the bank, they give my dog a treat,” the text on the video reads. In the clip, the cute dog is leaning out the window, patiently waiting for the tube to fall down the drive-thru bank teller.

“In his head, it’s just a magical treat dispenser every time we go,” the text on the video continues. The cute dog licks his lips a few times while waiting for the tube to shoot down into the machine.

At the end of the video, that tube does come down, and the dog looks more than ready for this treat .

“Him licking his lips waiting,” the video’s caption reads, with two laughing emojis.

In the comments, people shared a lot about this adorable dog and his belief that the bank drive-thru dispenser is just for treats.

Someone shared, “The lip-smacking before the tube comes.”

Another added, “I would be hanging out the window like this dog for cheesecake.”

One joked, “Chase Bank needs to step up their game.”

Someone else explained, “We used to get lollipops, so I also only saw it as a treat dispenser.”

One added, “I miss banks like this. This was my childhood.”

The Pedigree account joked, “Uuhh, it’s not a magical treat dispenser?!”

Important Safety Reminders for Dogs Riding in Cars

It’s always fun to take our dog with us to run errands, especially if they’ll do something cute like this pup who loves to stop at the bank. But with anything, safety is key, and that’s important in the car, too.

“No matter how long or short the drive is, though, it’s important to keep your dog safe in your car, just as you would any other passenger—and, of course, yourself,” the American Kennel Club explains.

When your dog is in the car with you, it’s important that it does not ride on your lap when the car is moving. The passenger seat is also not the best place for it.

“If your dog sits in the front passenger seat, he is at risk of being injured by an airbag, which is meant to protect adults,” the club explains.

“If the car does not have passenger-side airbags, and if your dog must ride in the front passenger seat, he can sit next to you as long as he is properly restrained.”

The best place for your dog to be in the car when it's in motion is in a dog crate on the back seat floor. “Place crates on the floor of the back seat or in the open storage/trunk area, not on the back seat,” the club explains.

It’s important, too, to ensure the crate has the proper ventilation and is big enough for your dog to “stand, turn around, and lie down comfortably.”

Also, a big reminder that it is not safe to leave your dog unattended in the car ever.
