Service Pit Bull Overcome with Joy When All His Friends Show Up at the Beach

Have you ever been somewhere, having a great time, and thought, "This would be perfect if everyone I love was here, enjoying this with me?" No matter what you're doing or where you are, sometimes, it's just going to be better when you're surrounded with your favorite people (and animals) to share it with. I have a feeling that's exactly what this Pit Bull was thinking while he was at the beach with his family... and then, totally by surprise, he got to see that dream come true.

In this video, we get to see a sweet dog find out that all of his friends have arrived to play with him, and he had the best reaction ever. We all deserve to experience this kind of happiness!

Earlier this week, @takingachanceinchs shared this sweet footage of the moment her Pit Bull , Chance (who also happens to be a service dog) realized that his pals had shown up at the beach — where he was waiting in a very fashionable hoodie, might I add. His mom described the moment as "pure happiness" in the video.

At first, Chance was just standing on the beach, and then, he saw his friends (who are all humans) in the distance. Once he realized he knew those people, he took off running toward them... and one of them even brought a ball for him to play with. That's real friendship!

My favorite part of the video are those tiny little tail wags when Chance first realized that his friends had arrived. It's just too sweet.

Commenters were feeling pretty emotional about the video, too. One person wrote, "I was looking around for other dogs but all his friends being people is really sweet!' Chance's mom replied, explaining, "Dogs can make him nervous bc he’s a rescue from a pretty high stress environment ! He’s more of a dog of the people kind of guy."

More About Chance the Pit Bull

In one video, Chance's parents explained that they adopted him on a whim . They'd actually gone to the animal shelter to adopt a kitten, but once they saw Chance, they couldn't leave them behind. I get it — who could leave without adopting a dog with such an adorable face?

And since then, it seems like it's been confirmed time and time again that they made the right choice, because this boy is clearly a very loved member of their family.

He really seems to thrive when his friends are over, though. Look at him hosting a football party in this video — he's in his glory!

After learning more about him, it's clear that Chance deserves all of this happiness and more. May we all have a beach day as magical as his!
