Lincoln is the epitome of Golden behavior with his big heart and kind temperament, which is exactly why one kitten took to him right away. It's only a matter of time before the other follow suit. Watch their sweet interaction below!

Athena Palmer ( @rescuesandremodels) shared the heartwarming clip just one day ago and it's already garnered nearly 269k likes, likely because of Lincoln's sweet disposition. Though most of the orange babies weren't too keen on the pup, little Kishu didn't hesitate to get in on the cuddles.

This Golden has a long history of being a very good boy whether he's cruising on a boat with his pet parents or cuddling with a cat sibling . Whatever he's doing, he's giving it 11/10 and it shows. Those kittens are so lucky to have a foster brother like Lincoln!

Of the hundreds of comments, Lincoln is getting high praise, and deservingly so!

Golden Retrievers Are a Top Choice For Cat Parents

There are so many good things about Goldens, it would take awhile to list them all. But there's good reason this breed is a family-favorite, and it's not only about having children in the home. The American Kennel Club has a list of dog breeds good with cats , and of course Goldens are on there!

With the caveat that each individual pup, his or her training, socialization, and temperament all play into this, Goldens are perfect companions to cats, puppies, or other small pets because of how slow they are to mature.
