PVPD officer ready for field work

Paradise Valley Police Department Officer Ruben Nava #247 has successfully completed a rigorous 14-week field training program designed for out-of-state lateral officers.

This intensive program ensures that new officers thoroughly learn the Paradise Valley procedures and become familiar with the town, according to PVPD’s CrimeWatch. Throughout the training, officers are closely observed and mentored by experienced field training officers.

Additionally, the program includes comprehensive certification in all the essential tools and equipment that officers will use on duty. This ensures they are fully prepared to handle the various challenges they may encounter in the field.

Now that Officer Nava has successfully completed his training, he is officially a solo officer.
