The recent articles about Ascension Lutheran Church, in particular "Ascension Lutheran Church spire saved from demolition" published online June 14, incorrectly stated Scott Jarson is with PHX Architecture. He is with AZ Architecture/Jarson & Jarson Real Estate, which specializes in the sale of architecturally unique homes, and is the chair citizen member of the Paradise Valley Hillside Building Committee.

Jarson's background is in art and design. Although he studied architecuture, he is not an architect. Jarson has a deep background and expertise in architecture and design in the Valley and was a former board member of the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy, and a past recipient of a “Wright Spirit” Award for preservation efforts. His firm are also recipients of the Gary Herberger Award of Distinction presented by AIA Arizona.

The group Save the Spire is made up of Jarson, Eric Peterson with PHX Architecture, C.P. Drewett with Drewett Works Architecture (working with developer), Catherine Kauffman with Paradise Valley Historical Advisory Committee, and Christine Labelle, a realtor and member of Paradise Valley Town Council.
