Man accused of killing mother of his kids at downtown Phoenix hotel
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man has been arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of the mother of his two children at a popular downtown Phoenix hotel earlier this month. Dominique Terrell Jackson, 40, faces one count of murder for allegedly shooting and killing 28-year-old Desiree Serpas at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel near 1st and Adams streets in the early morning hours of Friday, July 5.
Silver Alert canceled after 67-year-old West Valley man found safe
PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a Silver Alert on Monday after a 67-year-old West Valley man who’d been missing since last week was located. Robert Yates of Tolleson is safe and back with his family after he wound up in a Phoenix hospital, according to the Tolleson Police Department.
