    Local blood drive collections could save 78 lives

    The Paradise Valley Police Department and volunteers hosted a successful blood drive with the American Red Cross July 17.

    Thanks to generous donors and volunteers, including Council Member Anna Thomasson, Commander Joe DiVenti, officers and dispatchers, 26 units of blood were collected, according to PVPD’s CrimeWatch website.. Each unit can save up to three lives, meaning these efforts could help save up to 78 lives.
