Starting for varsity in any sport is a rare achievement for a freshman.
However, freshman Kai Tschen has taken the reins and is making a name for himself on the Desert Mountain High School varsity football team. A freshman standout, Tschen’s first season with the Wolves has already started on a high note for the young wide receiver.
Tschen leads the team in receiving yards per game as of this writing and already caught two touchdowns in early-season games. With plenty of time left in the season, Tschen shares his motivations, inspiration and expectations.
