The Paramus food truck and fireworks event was postponed due to Sunday night's stormy weather, but dates for the borough’s other Fourth of July activities remain unchanged.

The free food truck festival, hosted by the Paramus Volunteer Fire Department, will now be held on Sunday, July 7 at the west lot of Garden State Plaza and the Cliff Gennarelli Sports Complex, starting at 3 p.m. Admission is $5 per person or $10 for a family of two or more, with all proceeds benefiting the fire department.

There will also be live music, hosted by DJ Raphael Valentino and iHeartRadio starting at 6 p.m. with a fireworks display at dusk.

The featured food trucks will include:

    • Hold My Knots
    • The Quarry Truck
    • The Mozzarella God
    • Rolling Pita
    • Kielbasa and More
    • Batter Me Up
    • Kimchi Smoke
    • Empanada Mania
    • Angry Archies
    • The Ice Cream Lady
    • The Brownie Bar
    • Johnny Zeppoli
    • Clyde's Homemade Italian Ice

Event goers are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs. All guests can bring a clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bag. All must pass through a security screening and bag inspection before entering.

July 4th softball game Monday night

The three days of Paramus July Fourth events will now begin with Monday night’s Frank “Dutch” Cleenput Annual 4th of July softball game at the Gennarelli Sports Complex at 8:15 p.m. The game will pit the borough Fire Department against the Police Department.

    Independence Day parade on Thursday

Paramus' Independence Day parade is also still on for July Fourth, kicking off at 9 a.m. The parade can be viewed from Farview Avenue, Midland Avenue and at the grandstand at Memorial Elementary School. The masters of ceremonies for the parade will be Valentino and 103.5 FM and iHeartRadio host Steve Bartel.
