Paramus Police to Hold 'Night Out' Event

PARAMUS, NJ - In what has become a mid-summer tradition, borough police are hosting "Paramus' Night Out" on Tuesday, August 6.

The event, which takes place behind the library, 116 East Century Road from 5-7 p.m., includes police vehicles, emergency service vehicles, information tables from local and area groups, live music, children's activities, free hot dogs, and a helicopter landing, among other activities.

"National Night Out culminates annually on the first Tuesday in August," according to natw.org .

"National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. The state of Texas and select areas celebrate the first Tuesday in October."
