The Paramus school board is seeking to fill a spot left by the resignation of one of its members.

The Board of Education is looking to fill the seat left by Anthony Feorenzo, Jr., who resigned last month. The person who is chosen to replace Feorenzo would serve for six months, which will end in the first week of January.

Those interested are asked to send a letter of interest and their resumé or qualifications to School Business Administrator Brooke Bartley at bbartley@paramusschools.org by July 24.

Applicants must be 18 and older, a registered voter, a citizen, be able to read and write English and have been a Paramus resident for more than a year. They cannot be a disqualified voter or a conviction for any crimes.

The school board is planning to conduct interviews with candidates at the July 29 school board meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Paramus High School on Century Road. The board will announce its choice during the public portion of the meeting later that evening.
