Broadband BEAD Map Challenge OPEN NOW
The BEAD Challenge officially began on August 1, 2024. The Challenge Process allows residents of Mississippi a chance to provide feedback to help BEAM update the Mississippi Broadband Map. This updated map will allow BEAM to make the most of upcoming broadband funding and ensure every location in the state will soon have access to high-speed internet.
DeSoto Central baseball player victim of traffic accident
Aug 3, 2024- We’re hearing word tonight that a DeSoto Central baseball player has died in a traffic accident early Saturday morning in Olive Branch. Olive Branch police were called to the 4600 block of Terrace Stone Drive about 1:19 a.m. Saturday morning to a motor vehicle crash with injuries. Olive Branch police say the crash is currently under investigation.
