All of Parents' awards programs have a unique testing and assessment methodology. We have real parents test products in their home and share insights, to see how they stand up to the realities of parenthood. We also work with experts in the field to ensure quality, safety and accuracy. All products undergo a critical review process and only the highest-rated products earn a place on the list of winners.

Whether parents are bathing their baby for the first time or helping their teen navigate their first breakout, their skincare products should be safe, effective, and budget-friendly. That’s why we have hundreds of brands submit their products to be tested each year—on our search for the latest and greatest moisturizers, cleansers, sunscreens, and everything in between.

Whether a parent is introducing foods to an early eater, encouraging their toddler to embrace a wider variety of foods, or fueling a hungry tween as they race between school and soccer practice, the goal is the same: serve up the most healthful food—without spending our day as a short-order snack-chef. Our Parents Best Food Awards are chosen based on flavor, appeal, and convenience. They also needed to meet our nutritional standards.

Which products are eligible to apply?
Products must be available for purchase at time of publish date and approved for consumer use in the U.S.
Is there a limit to the number of products I may submit?
Yes, please limit your submission to three entries per brand. NOTE: Each product requires its own submission form.
My product has already been featured and/or tested by Parents. Do I still need to apply?
Yes, you will need to submit an application regardless of whether your product has been previously reviewed by Parents or another DDM brand.
How can I make my application stand out?
Tell us what makes your product unique, share how your product helps caretakers, and make sure to add appropriate links.
If my product wins, how can we promote the honor?
Parents encourages you to promote the honor of your win. Winners can issue a press release and announce the win on their own social channels. Winners will also have the opportunity to license the use of the award logo with our agent, The YGS Group , to make the news of the honor more impactful. Unauthorized use of the award logo is prohibited.
If my product wins and we want to issue a press release are there any special requirements?
We love when brands want to share their win in a press release. Please contact us directly at parentsawards@dotdashmdp.com so that our communications director can provide you with the correct language.
If my product wins, will it be featured on Parents' social channels?
This is up to the Parents social team and will happen on a case-by-case basis.
If my product wins, will we receive hi-res images and/or PDF’s of the award logo for our own use?
