Free Outdoor Concert at University of Idaho on Monday, July 8th
MOSCOW - The University of Idaho will host a free outdoor summer concert on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Arboretum and Botanical Garden on the main campus. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy an evening of beautiful music in a picturesque setting. The concert will take place on the west side of the upper pond in the Arboretum on Nez Perce Drive, near the golf course.

Childhood friends who build catapults and trebuchets visit East Idaho
POCATELLO — A group of friends who have been building weapons of war from a bygone era since their childhoods visited East Idaho recently. Titan Forged Siegeworks, a company that makes medieval siege artillery including catapults and trebuchets showed off some of their equipment on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Mystic Realms Fantasy Fair at the Bannock County Fairgrounds. The group, originally from Ogden, Utah, have taken their siege weapons to renaissance fairs, schools, museums, libraries, church events, a birthday and even TV commercials. They’ve also used them to teach both history and physics.

Idaho National Laboratory will host a bilingual recruiting event, INL Sin Límites, at the John E. Christofferson Building 3 at the College of Eastern Idaho in Idaho Falls on Tuesday, July 9. The event will feature bilingual recruiters from the laboratory and will be offered in Spanish and English. The event will provide information about careers at the laboratory, English language courses, GED preparation, internship opportunities for college students, and more from INL and partnering organizations Idaho State University, College of Eastern Idaho, Idaho Department of Labor, Community Council of Idaho and Express Employment Professionals.
