Dee Jays latest to add parking spots for veterans in Weirton
WEIRTON, W.Va. — The city of Weirton played host to a special ceremony at Dee Jays BBQ Ribs & Grille in Weirton. Three parking spots were dedicated for purple heart recipients. The program is designed to encourage veterans to have closer parking spaces with several businesses throughout the city.

NEW BRIGHTON ― A new program promoted by a country music icon is bringing books to Beaver County children starting in August. Representatives for the Beaver County Department of Human Services and The Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Beaver County have announced they will officially launch Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program for children across the region. A part of the Dollywood Foundation nonprofit, the program provides books to young children each month.
