Park City woman dies from injuries in Cowley County crash

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office confirmed a 23-year-old Park City woman died from injuries she received in a crash on Tuesday. The crash happened at U.S. Highway 77 and 242nd Road around 10 p.m.

The sheriff’s office says Reyna Batrez of Park City was driving a Nissan Altima when she failed to stop at the stop sign at 242nd Road and entered the intersection. Batrez struck a 2019 Honda Pilot.

The occupants inside the Pilot were not hurt. Batrez was taken to Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, the sheriff’s office says.
