BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Six WKU Football players have been selected to the Shrine Bowl 1000 Watchlist, the East-West Shrine Bowl announced Tuesday. Representing the Hilltoppers on the list are defensive backs Upton Stout and Anthony Johnson Jr., offensive lineman Quantavious Leslie, receivers Dalvin Smith and Kisean Johnson, and quarterback TJ Finley.
Pulitzer Winner Zooms with Bowling Green Summer Poetry Book Club
For three summers running, a group of local poetry afficionados have met every two-to-three weeks to discuss a different poetry collection, led by WKU English professor Dr. Tom Hunley. Woman Charged With Fleeing From Law Enforcement
A woman was charged with fleeing from law enforcement with a child in the vehicle on Fort Campbell Boulevard Thursday night. Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Izabel-Maribel Ical-Coy for speeding. She stopped and then continued before coming to a final stop on Walnut Street.
