Town of Fairplay recognizes retiring Park County Manager Tom Eisenman
Mayor Just, the Board of Trustees and Staff of the Town of Fairplay recognized retiring Park County Manager Tom Eisenman for his 25 years of distinguished service at their June 3, 2024 regular meeting. Just and those in attendance gave Eisenman a round of applause, thanked him for all he has accomplished, and extended best wishes to him as he nears the end of his career with Park County.

Wildflowers are in full bloom throughout the Rocky Mountains with pink lupines, periwinkle chiming bells and whiplash daisies coloring the alpine slopes. At Staunton State Park, a group of wildflower enthusiasts led by a certified plant master Pam Little, trekked around Dines Meadows and up Mason Creek, stopping frequently to discuss plant names.
DA Stanley testifies at disciplinary hearing
Embattled 11th Judicial District Attorney Linda Stanley took the stand June 18 to testify in her own defense during a professional disciplinary hearing in Denver. Disgusted at decision
I am disgusted, but not surprised at the decision by Amy Mitchell and Dave Wissel to again deny something to the residents of Park County on this side of the pass. It was very clear from their inaccurate facts and attitudes that they did not comprehend the need, nor care about the lack of medical service and the risk it presents to the health and lives of those in the Northeast section of the county.
