Evergreen 5K marks 45 years

The 45th-annual Evergreen Road Run/Walk will be held Saturday, Aug. 3 in Park Falls.

The event kicks off Saturday activities as part of the 71st-annual Flambeau Rama.The race start and finish lines will be in front of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, located at 276 S 5th Ave,.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the race starting at 10 a.m., rain or shine. Pre-registration for t-shirts has passed but race registration will be accepted through Friday, July 26 at a cost of $10. Same day registration will be $25.

Medals will be awarded to the first three male and female finishers in each class. Professional timing will be overseen by Tortoise and Hare Race Management.

There were 102 registered participants in the 2023 Evergreen 5K.
