Early Reports Suggest One Vikings Rookie Is the Real Deal
Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s first two rookie classes have been evaluated from every possible angle, as folks were underwhelmed by the early results of his first group – for a good reason. Lewis Cine and Andrew Booth have been borderline disasters and besides Ed Ingram and, to some extent, Ty Chandler, the 2022 rookies aren’t looking very bright.
Former Vikings GM addresses development of J.J. McCarthy
Former Minnesota Vikings general manager Jeff Diamond still has connections to that organization and recently discussed the offseason development of rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy."I think he’s had a really good spring, and hearing Kevin O’Connell, the Vikings coach, talking about it and, as you know, I do a lot of media work surrounding the Vikings, and I certainly have gotten good feedback on J.J.’s progress to this point," Diamond explained on an edition of the "Valentine’s Views" podcast, as shared by Ed Valentine of Big Blue View. The Biochar King of Minneapolis
Minneapolis may be the only city in the country with a carbon sequestration program manager on staff. Now, Jim Doten — who holds that title — is about to realize his dream of starting up one of the first municipally owned and operated carbon removal projects. The Minnesota metropolis has just purchased its very own biomass pyrolyzer, a machine that heats up tree clippings in a low-oxygen environment and turns them into a form of charcoal called biochar. As the wood grew, it sucked carbon out of the air during photosynthesis; as biochar, that carbon becomes stable for hundreds of...

His own experience with deep poverty informs his work. A career in professional football is what Damōn Chaplin had in mind when he matriculated to Norwich University, a private senior military college located in Northfield, Vermont. An injury ended those dreams, but the Boston native wasn’t deterred. When he transferred to Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio, to study biology, it was “all about academics.”
North Shore Lumber Opens with Competitive Prices and Quality Commitment
My husband and I are embarking on the next phase of the construction on our property. This means spending a lot of money on supplies and also spending a lot of money on gas to go back and forth to Duluth. That’s a 2-hour ride in the truck and, sometimes, it’s for something small that has halted the big project. It’s frustrating to take a huge chunk out of the day to retrieve the supplies you need to keep moving forward.

Twins announce roster move after sending David Festa back to Triple-A
While the Minnesota Twins are currently in the midst of another youth movement, not everything is going smoothly. Brooks Lee was called up earlier this week to make his MLB debut, and so far it seems like he’s here to stay. Much like Edouard Julien last season, Lee arrived at the Twins due to an injury but is using the opportunity to earn his keep for the long haul.
