If you plan on taking photos of your kids on their first day of school, there are some things that you need to know about before you post them on social media. Summer break is nearing its end. It feels like just yesterday, the kiddos were getting out of school and eager to take advantage of summer. In less than a month's time, kids will be returning to school. By now, you might have already started back-to-school shopping for clothes and supplies so the kiddos will be looking sharp on their first day back. Over the past few years, there has been a trend on social media where parents take photos of their kids on the first day of school posing with a sign to celebrate the first day of a new school year. These signs could be revealing more personal information about your child than you realize, and can all be used by predators, scammers, and other people looking to endanger your child, family, or finances.
Big Lots Shutting Down Stores Amid Financial Uncertainty
Big Lots is planning to shutter around 40 stores as the company opens up about their ability to continue. I've been shopping at Big Lots for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I could spend hours in the toy aisle, and even as a teenager, I spent quite a bit of time thumbing through the DVD and Blu-ray selections. My wife and I still shop at Big Lots on a regular basis today. It's safe to say that it's one of my all-time favorite stores. Need groceries? Done. Kitchenware? Easy. How about some furniture? Jacob Freeland tabbed to lead EC women's tennis
RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College athletic department has filled its vacancy in women's tennis, hiring Jacob Freeland to serve as head coach of the program. Freeland comes to Earlham from NAIA Shawnee State University where he served as head men's and women's tennis coach for the Bears. In one full season leading Shawnee, Freeland brought the men's program from a 2-13 record to a 10-12 mark. Under his leadership, the women's team tied the program record for most wins in a season.
