6 Texas Children Hospitalized After Suspected Drunk Driving Hit-and-Run
Six children were hospitalized, two of them seriously injured, after a hit-and-run incident with a suspected drunk driver in Dallas last Saturday night around 10 pm. A woman was driving a 2016 GMC Acadia on the 4200 block of Rugged Dr with 7 passengers including a 26-year-old female in the passenger seat, a 17-year-old boy, a 4-month-old girl, a 6-year-old boy, a 3-year-old boy, and a 4-year-old boy, when a black 2018 Chevy Malibu struck it at a high rate of speed. One child was not secured in their safety seat and was ejected from the vehicle.

Cause of Fire At Historic Texas Church Remains A Mystery
Back in July a historic church caught on fire in Dallas, and now we are learning that it may forever remain a mystery. The fire that destroyed the historic sanctuary at First Baptist Church in Downtown Dallas occurred on July 19. The fire was a huge, four-alarm fire that gutted the old, historic sanctuary, but fire fighters were able to save the rest of the building. Since the fire, an investigation and clean-up effort have been on-going. Church officials want to preserve as much of the old sanctuary as possible.
Taste of Chicago to close in Addison, looking for new location
ADDISON, Texas — For 10 years, Taste of Chicago has served deep-dish pizza and Chicago-style food in an Addison strip mall. The restaurant will close Oct. 27 after its building was purchased by AMLI Residential, who intend to tear down the building to build apartments, according to a social media post from Taste of Chicago.
