    Woman arrested after shooting husband, told police “he dared me to shoot him, so I did”

    A West Virginia woman was arrested after she allegedly shot her husband when he dared her to shoot him.

    News outlets say, Bendi Hope Tucker of Parkersburg was arrested after officers were called for a shooting on Rayon Drive.

    Officers say Tucker called 911 saying she shot her husband Mark.

    When officer arrived, Mark was found with a gunshot wound to his upper torso and was taken to a  to a local medical facility for treatment.

    Officers say both the husband and wife were drinking alcohol at the time of the incident and they both discussed a firearm. Tucker allegedly told officers ” he dared me to shoot him, so I did.”

    Tucker was arraigned Sunday and her bond was set at $50,000 surety.
